Recording of Nirvana's legendary final UK show. Kurt was taken to the stage in a wheelchair pushed by Melody Maker journalist Everett True. Krist Novaselic introduced the show by saying "With the support of his friends and family, you're gonna make it man".
Prior to "tourette's", Novaselic sarcastically advises bootleggers to "go ahead" to save the band bothering to officially release the song, which Kurt says is called "The Eagle Has Landed".
"All Apologies" is dedicated to Kurt's "12-day old daughter" and his wife, with the audience complying with his wish that they shout "Courtney, we love you".
The audience of 35,000 was up to its ankles in mud caused by relentless rain during the three day festival, which Nirvana headlined and completed by obliterating every piece of musical equipment on the stage.
