Annotation

LP released originally in 1979, thus the name for the release, "8 For The 80's." If the songs had been more funk-based than Soul/Jazz, the album probably would have been more successful, and would have had a slew of hits, Songs like Change, The S.O.S., Pleasure, and countless other hit makers, of the dance/funk genres, at the beginning of the 1980s. The best song on this release is, a mid-tempo, female lead, with great backing vocals and excellent production, called, "The Love You Give To Me." The apostrophe "s" at the end of 80s in the release name was a mistake from the production, so it is not incorrect to include it in the release name.
