Company: A Musical Comedy (London Cast Recording)

~ Release by Stephen Sondheim (see all versions of this release, 1 available)

Annotation

This "original London cast" recording is actually the 1970 original Broadway cast reprising their roles, with the exception of Larry Kert's vocals replacing Dean Jones' original tracks for the lead character Robert. "This 'new' recording featuring the new vocals (for just Kert's alone, or for the entire cast?) laid over the original Broadway backing tracks was released as the Original London Cast recording." - wikipedia

there is a discrepancy in the liner note's printed tracklist. "Booklet lists durations separately for "Poor Baby" 3:04 and "Tick Tock" 6:53, however media player shows tracks as one title "Poor Baby" / "Tick Tock" with duration 6:56. Reason media player shows 13 tracks, booklet and disc show 14 tracks." - discogs notes. (afternote: it's more likely that the total time of the two songs together amounted to 6:53, as seen from the Broadway production recordings)
