HEARTBEAT (complete compiled soundtrack)
Wherever possible, recordings from the official soundtrack release have been utilized, but much of the game's background music is royalty-free music from MusMus and Rengoku-Teien, and those tracks were gathered by ripping the game files directly using the Petschkos RPG-Maker MV & MZ-File Decrypter tool. These decrypted files have retained their metadata, which is how some of the info was sourced, along with some documentation from the Heartbeat Wiki.
Track ordering was constructed by interleaving the official soundtrack with ripped files; note that the official soundtrack presents some of its music "out of order" from the way a player would encounter the songs in-game. Nevertheless, the official release was used as a track ordering guideline, and the royalty-free tracks have also been grouped and ordered according to their associated official soundtrack counterparts. Wherever conflicts did not arise, however, appearance order was adhered to. Additionally, for sections with potentially ambiguous ordering, the in-game Almanac was used as a convenient, linear area ordering mechanism.
