CD1: Recorded May 28 (tracks 3, 6) and June 1 & 2 (tracks 1-2, 4-5, 7-8), 1956, September 11 (tracks 9-11, 13-14) & 12 (track 12), 1957 and May 1954 at the Appollo-Théâtre (tracks 15-16) in Paris.
Reissue of the Versailles 10" LP 2010 (tracks 1-8), EP 90 302 (tracks 9-12), LP 8020 "France - U.S.A." (tracks 13-14) and extracts from the Philips LP 77 101 "Jazz Boom n°1" (tracks 15-16).

Tracks 9-14 have double bass performed by Benoît Quersin or Paul Rovère.

CD2: Recorded December 6, 1961 at the Studio Blanqui in Paris (tracks 1-2) and November 12, 1968 in Paris (tracks 3-6) & November 19, 1968 in London (tracks 7-10).
Reissue of the Philips EP 432 760 (tracks 1-2) and the EMI LP 2C 062 10 025 (tracks 3-10).
Original soundtrack of Roger Vadim's movie "Les 7 péchés capitaux" (tracks 1-2).
