Notes

Much like the analogous Best of Ellington Songbook they put out earlier, this Verve bundle has the same qualities and defects:
- it's essentially superb material
- it's too specific in Ella's career to be a good "overview" sampler
- it's too much a sampler to really interest amateurs, fans and completists
