Annotation

tracks 4, 10, 16 previously unreleased.

"Enhanced CD containing a full audio program as well as multimedia computer files.Personnel includes: Mel Tormé, Peggy Lee, The Mel-Tones, Sunny Burke. Includes liner notes by Jane Bogart and Ryan Null. This is part of A&E's Biography series. Released in conjunction with airing of the television show of the same name, A&E Biography offers an incomplete but informative overview of Mel Tormé's recordings for Capitol Records. Although the compilation is limited by its reliance on a single label, many of his great songs are here, including "Bewitched" and "The Christmas Song," along with numerous other fine performances, all of which adds up to a solid sampler designed for casual fans."
