Released in conjunction with airing of the television show of the same name, A&E Biography offers an incomplete but informative overview of Mel Tormé's recordings for Capitol Records. Although the compilation is limited by its reliance on a single label, many of his great songs are here, including "Bewitched" and "The Christmas Song," along with numerous other fine performances, all of which adds up to a solid sampler designed for casual fans."
