Creatures of the Night

~ Release by KISS (see all versions of this release, 36 available)

Annotation

As with most of KISS’s late ’70s and early ’80s output, proper performance credits are tricky. Although Ace Frehley is shown on the cover and did appear in the video for “I Love It Loud”, he did not participate in any recording sessions and was effectively out of KISS long before it was released. Accordingly he is not listed in the credits here.

In his absence, KISS employed a number of session guitarists. None of them received performance credit when the album was released in 1982, but most of the information from those sessions is widely available. The most notable of these session guitarists is Vincent Cusano, who joined KISS as Vinnie Vincent for their next album.

And yes, the Bryan Adams who receives co-writing credits on 2 songs here is that Bryan Adams.
