Do It!

~ Release by Neil Diamond (see all versions of this release, 1 available)

Annotation

This is an original vinyl LP from Bang Records. This is also the last 'original' release of material from Bang Records prior to the release of 'Double Gold' in 1973 (and the future absorption of the label into the CBS Records catalog). Despite the notion that this is a compilation release, two recordings stand out as being original releases for this album making it difficult to classify as a compilation. They are "Crooked Street" and "Shot Down". Outside of these, the remaining recordings are re-issues of similar tracks previously released on other albums with variations among the releases. Also noteworthy is that the final track is vastly different from the album cover. The cover lists "Hanky Panky" as the last song when the song is really "The Long Way Home".
