Annotation

Anthology is a comprehensive 2xCD compilation of material from The Clean, some of which had never existed on CD up until this point. The track listing was compiled by band member David Kilgour. The first disc contains much of The Clean's early-1980s pre-breakup material, while the second disc gathers the band's slightly more-recent 1990s output, produced after their reformation.

Tracks 1 & 2: 1981's Tally Ho! / Platypus single.
Tracks 3–7: 1981's Boodle Boodle Boodle EP.
Tracks 8–14: 1982's Great Sounds Great, … EP.
Tracks 16–18: 1982's Getting Older single.

Track 19: Live at the Rhumba Bar.
Track 20 & 21: Live at the Gladstone Hotel, Christchurch, NZ.
