On the cover, after the artist names there are credits in parentheses; for tracks 1–10 & 15 “voce” (voice) and for tracks 11–14 “instrumentală” (instrumental; declination indicates the adjective refers to the track rather than the artist).

Tracks 14 & 15 are “documentary recordings” from the Archive of the Ethnography and Folklore Institute „Constantin Brăiloiu”; recorded in 1941 and restored from phonograph cylinders by Dan Vlădescu and Marian Lupașcu.
