Annotation

Side 1:
Tracks 1-4
Recorded October 16, 1961

Side 2:
Tracks 5-8
Recorded November 21, 1961
Both sessions recorded at Contemporary Records in Los Angeles, CA

Track 4: Daahoud is spelled Dahoud on the original LP release. This is supposedly a BMI work under Clifford Brown, the composer. However, nothing comes up for either spelling at BMI or ASCAP. Brief internet searches yield both spellings.

Track 7: Named for the late Carl Perkins.
