Deeds, Not Words

~ Release by Max Roach (see all versions of this release, 5 available)

Notes

The french edition features a different cover.
Also as Riverside RS 3018, and apparently part of a twofer (unconfirmed?) Jazzland JLP 79 titled "Conversation" bundled with Speak, Brother Speak (and/or standalone JP-979?).
Some of the cuts were compiled into The Big Beat (Milestone M 47016, MCD 47016-2), and there apparently exist a single Jodie's Cha-Cha c/w Larry-Larue as Riverside R 45417.
Modern Fantasy/OJC reissue include an additional cut.

Essential session, a definitive dig.

Issues

The year for the French edition is unconfirmed.
