Telemetry of a Fallen Angel (Anniversary Edition)
It has been nearly 10 years since the groundbreaking CXS album was first released to the public, and strangely it has remained one of the most consistent selling discs in the gothic genre. Year in and year out, this classic has continued to introduce the concepts in the Angel Cycle to new audiences. Its tracks have become staples on the playlists of DJ's worldwide, and in record collections throughout the scene. The Disc paved the way for the Cruxshadows, and introduced the world of CXS to a national audience within the US.
But the audio of the original recording was never properly mastered, leaving the disc a bit lackluster, especially by todays standards. In addition, the record has been released by three different labels (Black Widow Music, Nesak International recording, and Dancing Ferret Discs.) Over that time the photographic plates have been worn down from the many print-runs, leaving most recent printings of the disc somewhat less than what was originally intended. Despite very heavy demand- the disc has been quietly retired.
But in the Summer of 2004, Dancing Ferret will release Telemetry in an anniversary edition, with digitally remastered sound (to clarify and expand the audio quality), new artwork, and some exciting bonuses. The booklet will be longer, in full color, with greater insight into the meaning of the disc, the elements of CXS mythology, and more.
