Bleep favourite Central Processing Unit front another release of well-oiled post-acid jams. AB2088 - Andy Brown to those who know him - only dropped his Computer Club full-length Sagittarius back in April, but seven months on and he is back with an eight-track LP. The tracks of TX0 are steeped in electro-funk, acid house and sci-fi soundtracks with a sprinkling of girme. In a similar manner to many of the cuts on Sagittarius, the beats often seem to be holding something back, allowing for a strange and oddly alluring feeling of jerkiness and system malfunction. When Brown lets the drums do the work, as on the title track, the results are exhilarating.
