Annotation

Dark Spring is originally a play directed by French director Bruno Geslin, with French actress Claude Degliame and French band Coming Soon, adapted from Dunkler Frühling, an autobiographical novel by German author Unica Zürn (1916-1970). It was performed in various venues in France during the years 2011 and 2012.

Music inspired by the original text was written and performed live by the six members of Coming Soon (Howard Hughes, Ben Lupus, Alex Banjo, Billy Jet Pilot, Leo Bear Creek, Mary Salomé), who also participated at times in the play as supporting actors, often in the background.

The play lasted 1h40min and this release is 37min so it is not the complete soundtrack, but rather a summary of the play. The voice of actress Claude Degliame can be heard on some tracks.
