This is a two part release of the same session.
The Shandar edition is a double LP.
I heard there exists a 2005 one CD remastered reissue of the whole session.
This session is possibly the very last recordings we got from Ayler.
Highly emotional record, Ayler was at his best.
At that time, most people had turned their back on him after the supposedly "commercial compromission" New Grass: this wonderfull session just prove the morrons wrong.
