Matrix

Matrix String: MADE IN CANADA BY AMERIC DISC 2SYZ3<0241>MRG255CD
Mastering SID: IFPI L481
Disc ID: sKkvcnVinT1xjxVAs_LylwPf2cI-

Mould SID (example): IFPI 81B0
Mould Text (example, optional): AD/CA

Americ Disc/Disque Americ Inc. was a big Canadian CD manufacturer (closed 2011) seated in Drummondville, Canada. The company owned also several plants in the US. It had assigned IFPI codes L481 to L489 (glass mastering) and 81** (moulds). It is not known exactly which of their plants used these codes, or if IFPI 77** was also assigned to the company (there are known variants with mould SIDs in this range).
In addition, some CDs have the additional code 'AD/CA' opposite the mould SID. According to Discogs (as of 2022) this means Americ Disc / CAlifornia where one of their plants was located. But it wasn't ruled out that 'CA' stands for CAnada.
Though the obligatory sticker on this release 'Made in Canada' seems to indicate manufactured in Canada, it's also possible this was meant for the album and some copies were pressed in the US.
