Why Do Fools Fall in Love / Please Be Mine

~ Release by The Teenagers featuring Frankie Lymon (see all versions of this release, 2 available)

Annotation

On Wikipedia you can find an interesting page about this song and the composers.

The song was written by Frankie Lymon & George Goldner. Morris Levy bought George Goldner's interest in Gee Records (Goldner's record company) so he put his name instead of Goldner's behind this song.

After a court battle Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers members Herman Santiago and Jimmy Merchant got the credits but lost it again to Lymon & Levy because they filed the case too late.
