Sonny Burgess and The Pacers

~ Release by Sonny Burgess and The Pacers (see all versions of this release, 1 available)

Annotation

A compilation of Sonny Burgess Sun recordings 1956-1959, made without mention of The Pacers.
The Pacers issued their first single in 1961.
The album title is a misleading marketing ploy by the compiler. Indeed, some members of this group had previously participated in Burgess' Sun recordings, but as individual session musicians rather than as a group. Thus, the compiler included this group as a participant in Burgess' Sun recordings retroactively.
