Brolin, the UK-based musician and producer releases his debut 7” single. ‘NYC’ on 22nd October 2012 via National Anthem Records.‘NYC’ is a beautiful track, as hopeful as it is mournful, and deserves to enter the long pantheon of homages to the great city. Spacious and spellbinding, its pensive grandeur is as provocative as any love letter should be.

Former Yeasayer man Gallab was asked to re-work the song in his guise as Sinkane for the vinyl release flipside. The Sinkane remix, alongside a euphoric, bass-inspired interpretation by up-and-coming Scottish DJ Lockah are also available on iTunes and via other digital retailers.

Debuted by Radio 1’s Rob Da Bank, with follow up plays by the likes of Jen Long (R1) and Tom Robinson (6Music) the track has already picked up thousands of plays through word of mouth and internet sharing without an iota of promotion.
