The Quake soundtrack is often credited to just Trent Reznor, but the game booklet says:
"Special thanks to
Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails for Sound Effects and Music."

In this interview, music is said to be a "group effort" by all Nine Inch Nails members.

The 2020 vinyl release is sold exclusively on Nine Inch Nails' website, with ad copy as follows:
"NINE INCH NAILS' SOUNDTRACK TO THE LEGENDARY FIRST PERSON SHOOTER FROM ID SOFTWARE. AVAILABLE FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER ON VINYL. REMASTERED 2XLP PRESSED ON 180GRAM VINYL."
