Annotation

1971 album from the groundbreaking Alt-Rock icon and former co-leader of the Velvet Underground. The droning, improvised rock style of John Cale's collaboration with minimalist composer, Terry Riley, reveals Cale's avant garde roots. Before the Velvet Underground Cale was prominent in minimalist circles, writing and recording experimental music.
