Debut

The initial CD was released with 11 tracks (standard and limited) in July 1993. Later in November a 12-track edition (with "Play Dead" as a bonus track) was released in multiple variations of pressings, most sharing cat# and barcode. They need to be separated using a combination of information found on the back, in the booklet and on the CD to identify a particular release. Additionally a 1-minute silent pre-gap to the bonus track 12 "Play Dead" (causing a track 11 duration of 4:32) was added to some versions without any visible difference in artwork.

All Mayking/DOCdata versions were glass mastered at the same plant (in London), but pressed at two different plants (at least), causing different imprints on the disc label. However, depending on the presence/absence of a silent pre-gap, both versions 1 and/or both versions 2 may be the same release on MusicBrainz. Both "Telford" versions (made in Telford) are only sparsely documented and may even be identical.
