After their debut with the epic studio album "Hybrid Theory", which was a huge success and got second place in Billboard 200, Linkin Park slays once again with "Meteora". The title is related to the Greek Orthodox monasteries, which literally means "middle of the sky".

The album greets us with aggressivity from the start with "Don't stay", which unleashes anger, followed right after by "Somewhere I Belong", the exact opposite of "Don't stay", this one being full of emotions, like a sad ballad, you can't express the feelings that the songs are giving you. After that, we have a taste of "Lying From You", where you can see what this is about from the lyrics: "the very worst part of you is me", the rapping combined with the great vocals, and the hybrid music gives you chills. Next, is a track that makes you think about success and all of your moves in life, like how you are at the top and look down on people, lying and all of those things, then you suddenly drop and "Hit The Floor".

"Easier To Run" is one of my favorite tracks from Linkin Park. It has so many feelings that you can't talk about, it just makes me numb, if I can say? It's just too good, like all of their creations. The next one is "Faint", the fear of ignorance and indifference, which is completely vanished within the music, followed right after by "Figure.09" that seems like a deeper problem which is destroying your mind, like the lyrics say: "I've let myself become lost inside these thoughts of you", some feelings that you can't describe". From "Breaking The Habit", we can see that this is an album made especially for teenagers, because the teenage years are the years of choices, but not entirely, because "From The Inside" has a deeper meaning, about all of this, the trust you have in a person, the disappointment that you get: "take everything from the inside and throw it all away". We have next "Nobody's Listening" which doesn't need any description because of the epic lyrics: "I got a heart full of pain, head full of stress, handful of anger, held in my chest". This song is followed by a full instrumental song named "Session", just emotions given by awesome and plain music. The album is ending with an amazing song, "Numb", where all the teenagers can relate to it, obviously not just them, all of us.

The album had a huge success and was ranked number 36 on Billboards Top 200 Albums of the Decade. The music is just so good, they have something special from the other rock bands, they combine everything, making a hybrid of our feelings that I can't describe enough, it's just so good from my point of view. It perfectly describes the feelings that you have at one moment in life.

The first two albums are the best, I think, even if the next ones are epic too, because it's my all time favorite rock band that passed the level of "just a band", and it gives you different emotions from the different artists that we have today. They are just so original and good, that i think this album is a masterpiece.
