Best of Virgin Years: Singles & Rarities 1998-2001

This is an official compilation, but it is not approved by the band. It was released by their previous record label (the eponymous Virgin) after the band had left, and covering only the three albums released by that label.

The band announced they were in the process of making a Best Of compilation, and this was released just 4 months later (Delikatessen) by their new label Gun, a Sony subdivision. The band in fact recommended on their official website that their fans not buy this release at all.
