This attribute indicates that lyrics have been translated, literally or freely, from the original language. This does not apply if an entirely new set of lyrics have been set to an existing melody.
Guidelines
- If you are not dealing with two distinct works, use the recording - artist Arranger relationship.
- See Style/Classical/Works regarding if a classical arrangement can be considered a distinct work.
- Note: This should rarely be used for pop music, where you should generally just link both recordings as performances of the same work, with the "cover" attribute checked if appropriate.
