NOW (bogus label; use the MusicBrainz Series instead)
~ Label
Annotation
This is fake label that should no longer be used, as it is superceded by the Now That's What I Call Music! series, which is compiled and distributed for UK retail by three separate major companies.
In the ancient past, MusicBrainz did not permit more than one label to be attached to a release, making it difficult to pick between EMI, PolyGram (now Universal) , or Virgin. The database has changed, and this is no longer a concern.

On some recent releases the logo used is apparently that of "NOW Music", which was devised by the TV-advertising departments of the companies previously mentioned.
UK titles prior to Now 18 did not include the exclamation mark. Now 18 and Now 19 (UK) include the exclamation mark after the word "Now". From Now 20 (UK), the current Now That's What I Call Music! format was adopted. Please do not change titles to all use the same format.
Note also that volumes 2 and 13 use Roman numerals (ie Now II and Now XIII)
