Annotation

Ill-fated record company subsidiary of Dreamworks SKG, owned by David Geffen, Steven Spielberg and Jeffrey Katzenberg. Originally distributed by Geffen Records (owned by MCA) until Universal Music Group bought it in 2003 and renamed it DreamWorks Nashville Records, only to close it on August 31, 2005.
The logo was the final project completed by artist Roy Lichtenstein.
First release was "Beautiful Freak" by eels.
