Annotation

To date, 2021/12, this Label is known to have 115 Releases.

All these are entered into MB. Though tracklists are not yet entered for many.

The name of this Label, Revelation, is not immediately apparent from its imprint/logo. This has resulted in its Releases being listed under multiple separate names in databases.

Barcodes: All known barcodes are of the form 5032636 + numerical section of catalogue number + check digit

Catalogue numbers: Naming convention: The form RV ?0??? is used here.
The catalogue number found on most coverart has extreme letter spacing/kerning applied to the R&V and also to the numbers. Between these two groups of characters is a far wider space.

The following ranges of catalogue numbers are all that have been found in internet databases and searches (some numbers within some ranges appear not to have been released and ranges may possibly extend further):

The Sviatoslav Richter Blog has a comment relating a putative history that contextualises the Revelation label.
Paraphrased here:
''Following the purchase of the rights to the 400,000 tapes in the Gosteleradio archives in 1989 from his friend Boris Yeltsin, for around $10,000,000, Russian-Canadian businessman Tristan Del partnered with Denny Diante and founded Fenix Entertainment Inc. The production of the releases was moved to the UK and and released with the label "Russia: The Classical Revelation". There had been difficulties in remastering the music from the tapes. For whatever reason Revelation went bankrupt some 3 years after the first CDs were released. Tristan Del returned to the USA, where he started Pipeline Music, with label "Classical Treasures" distributing in the USA using the catalogue prefix CT, while in South Korea label "Yedang Classics" produced CDs with the prefix YCC.
However both Classical Treasures and Yedang Classics failed after a couple of years.''
The above history has not been verified as accurate.

To do:
Add missing Tracklists/Recordings/Mediums.
Find missing back coverart to allow verification of all tracklists from coverart.
Find authoritative source for Release Date data. This may be available through https://worldradiohistory.com/UK/Music-Week/
