Caprice Records

Caprice Records was founded in 1971 and was Concerts Sweden’s (Rikskonserter) own record label until 2011, when the business was taken over by Statens musikverk. In conjunction with this transition, the objectives changed to primarily making available its back catalogue, but also to working with music from Statens musikverk’s archives.

Caprice Records collaborates, and has collaborated, with various partners within and outside the music scene, such as the Royal Academy of Music, Swedish Radio, Swedish Television, Nomus, Sida, Export Music Sweden, The Swedish Institute, The Royal Swedish Opera, and others.
