ghaychak (Persian double-chambered bowl lute)

Description

Having 4 metal strings, it is carved from a single piece of wood into a particular shape similar to the Sarinda, it has 3 soundholes, two on each side of the short neck and one under the bridge which is membrane-covered.
Not to be confused with the Uyghur spike fiddle ghijak.
