vichitra veena (Large North Indian fretless sliding tube zither)

Description

Played like a slide guitar, it has two large gourd resonators with a teak body that often ends in carved peacock heads. Fretless, it has 4 main, 5 chikari and 13 resonance strings, slide is a glass orb named batta.
