Before the show, Paul Stanley announced that the local fire marshal had forbidden the band from using any pyrotechnics. They followed through on this until the finale, when they unleashed an entire concert's worth of pyrotechnics in one shot. After the concert, it was announced that KISS are now permanently banned from performing in Bremen.
