Question on the first bullet - "had an audience at the time"... Bootlegs often include intro/outro music, which is frequently a PA broadcasting of pre-recorded music, but also including the ambient audience noise. These would seem to fall into a grey zone with this attribute, seeming to be "live" by this definition, even though they're not what anyone would otherwise consider "live" performances. BrianFreud

• I would say that using pre-recorded music doesn't automatically stop it from being live in that way (we would have the same issue for, say, modern classical which has parts for recorded tape). But yeah, it is a grey area... I would use the live attribute myself but I can see why others wouldn't. On the other hand, you might want to not even consider it a performance of a work, assuming that it's just basically all "background noise"...--Reosarevok 13:05, 30 October 2011 (UTC)
