Annotation

Alex Dingley is from Llansteffan in South West Wales Uk. He was previously a member of the Welsh language group Texas Radio Band. His debut solo album 'I Lost My Honey In The Grass' was recorded by Mr Huw in the Snowdonian mountains over the winter of 2007. On the record he strives to "provide an antidote to overproduced, generic and cynical music", veering away from the "plastic perfection of many modern records to display the 'bare bones' of songs". Sounds on the album include blenders, Hoovers and other kitchen utensils.
His live band include's Swci Boscawen (keyboards and backing vocals), Nigel Bowels (bass guitar), Rhys Martin (Lead guitar) and Alun (Jinx) Jenkins on drums. They have been described as 'jagged folktronic rock' (NME) and 'Ramshackle country pop'(Huw Stephens).
