Joe Turner (Jazz pianist, 1907–1990)

There appears to be considerable degree of confusion between this Joe Turner, and the singer 'Big Joe Turner'. The confusion even seems to be present in the ISWC database, where I see that the IPI codes 00031198894 and 00146414878 appear to be used for both artists (though admittedly I could be relying on sources that suffer from similar confusion). It does not seem to be safe to assign an IPI code based only on the current state of the ISWC database, without actually consulting the IPI register.
