Annotation

Abhorrence is a Finnish death metal band which was first active from 1989 to 1991. After the original band broke up, the members went on to form and/or play in bands like Amorphis, Impaled Nazarene, Spiha, Verenpisara and more.

In 2013, following the release of the compilation album Completely Vulgar, they made three reunion appearances, at club Bar Loose under the moniker "Bob Horrence" and shows at Tuska Open Air Metal Festival and Hammer Open Air Metal Festival. The Tuska festival gig was recorded and released in 2017 as Totally Vulgar - Live at Tuska Open Air 2013 live album.
In late 2017 it was reported they would be recording new material, in early 2018 that it would be called Megalohydrothalassophobia EP and released by Svart Records.
