Acheronian is a collective of mine. It's my friends and our drunken troubles put into sound. There is music out on my very own SleepyTime Music and via KMO Records. Acheronian plays shows and is looking to book some shit for the near future so please get in touch if you can help.I'm always recording new music so also please get in touch if you want to spread the <3 and release something. I released a 3 inch cd/ep Kantucky and a split 7 with Keith Orzech in late 2007 on KMO Records and just released a new cd Sex & Drugs on the same label. There also have been releases done via my own DIY label SleepyTime Music called With Love Heart & Soul From Me To You, Drug Songs and Playing God (demo) - all of these i'm looking to get re released via a label so get in touch if interested.Acheronian plays many styles of music. It started out as an acoustic/found sound ambient project and then drifted into what some people called a "drug folk" sound. The more folk styled recordings often featured tape manipulated vocals that reflected the sound of a female singing. Lately the sound has turned more on the drone/doom/noise side of things with heavy guitars, static soundbeds and haunting vocals.One constant in Acheronian has always been being an experimental project. you can see what other released are avilable and in the works in the sounds like section of this page.
