Mr. Harold Floyd Brooks was a highly talented hard-bop tenor saxophonist that would have been considered one of the giants if he had a longer career, unfortunately shortened by health problems apparently linked to some bad habits.
Most of his work either as a sideman or leader is found on Blue Note.
