Ted Wesley

Ted Wesley was a singer from the Northwest Territories who recorded three albums in the seventies about the North. He was born in Abercorn, formerly in Northern Rhodesia, now Zambia. At six he moved to England, then at nine he emigrated with his family to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He went to work in the mines at Yellowknife, N.W.T. at age sixteen after lying about his age.
