Kyle Lettman

Kyle Lettman is a British singer/songwriter born and raised in south London. With initial ambitions to become an actor, Kyle discovered his love and talent of music while pursuing an acting career at Lambeth College. During his time there, he met his future band mates Jermaine Riley and Varren Wade and the three went on to form the group FDM (Fundamental).
FDM began as a underground pop sensation who gained traction to the point where they were opening for such acts as The Sugababes, Alicia Keys, and Ne-Yo. The group embarked on tours of both Europe and America and was signed by Geffen Records alongside Keisha Cole and Mary J Blige.
In 2010 FDM broke down and Kyle redirected his ambitions to pursue a solo career. In 2012 Kyle began a professional relationship with LunaKidz Music and began working on his first project as a solo artist. Alongside LunaKidz producer Moodini, Kyle worked to develop an individual style in a market lacking quality male vocals outside the boy band niche. His current sound is a blend of contemporary energies and styles ranging from a classic ballad to a fast-paced Afrobeat track.
Although he certainly developed an individual style, Kyle took a lot away from his days as a member of a group. In a live performance, certainly one of his most apparent skills is his dancing ability. Kyle’s aptitude for dance is a skill that even predates FDM and is indeed something that helped him develop a love for music in the first place. While he understands that his dancing is attention-grabbing and can heighten an audience’s energy, he also realizes that to truly connect with an audience requires true emotion and he blends that energy with raw ballads in a delicate balance.
Kyle’s solo debut entitled Access, is a 13 song compilation that, like its name, gives his audience an all-access pass to every side of Kyle. While some tracks will surely be what his older fans are seeking, the project was carefully edited to include styles and genres well outside the pop/R&B range which have inspired this artist.
