Originally signed to Chris Blackwell’s Island Records Arthur Louis played blues and reggae cross-over music. He established his credentials as a songwriter and arranger with his debut album “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door”, which achieved international acclaim and featured Eric Clapton. Louis's enigmatic performances of self penned songs, driven by heart felt lyrics, distinctive vocals and melodies captivated a broad church of audiences, attracting an international fan base.
