Orchestra Sinfonica dell’Emilia-Romagna ‘Arturo Toscanini’

Founded as the Orchestra Regionale dell’Emilia-Romagna in Parma in 1975, the orchestra was recognized in 1977 by the State of Italy as a Concert and Orchestra organization of national importance. In 1982, it assumed its present name Orchestra Sinfonica dell’Emilia-Romagna ‘Arturo Toscanini’. Both this and the Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini (which was founded in 2002) are under the Fondazione Arturo Toscanini, which is:

"… a musical organization based in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy that operates with the support of the Ministry for Arts and Culture.
