Lloyd Luther (Cameron Lloyd Luther Johnson) is a British Rap Artist and Producer.

Born in Streatham South London and later moved to Leicester City in the East Midlands.

Influenced by a eclectic range of music, mainly Drill/ Uk Rap and Grime, but also influenced by Daft Punk and Massive Attack.

Music started out as a past time and escape for Lloyd but a brush with death in hospital gave him the impetus to get his work out there more urgently and not worry about what others think – to remain true to himself became the higher goal.

He has an uncompromising, relentless delivery showing a deep knowledge of the subjects he tackles, from science, philosophy, politics and history, as well as a wit in using popular cultural references.

Lloyd Luther’s has won the high praise from luminaries such as Oasis songwriter Noel Gallagher and DJ Semtex.

One of his early tracks – ‘Drugs on Tap’ – a diatribe on the state of the medicine industry, was used in the soundtrack for Netflix’s series ‘Top Boy’. This marked Lloyd Luther’s entrance into mainstream UK rap culture, where he has cemented his reputation among the rap scene.

His latest release is ‘Reprogram’ (2021) a mixtape released during covid to great applause thanking the new fans from ‘TOP BOY’. After a sold old headline show in Brixton after the covid pandemic, Lloyd’s now preparing to release his sophomore studio double albums ‘These Are The Times’ a Drill dark description of the times through technology and ‘Riddim’s, Roads And Mantras Of Freedom’ a reggae/rap healing conclusion connected in a epic dark and light battle with the later.
