Terry originally started as part of the Brighton Bottle Orchestra. In 1990 started on a solo career which led to him becoming resident compare at Brighton's Crocodile Comedy Club.

His main act revolved around Brighton The Musical. He made a show out of singing famous songs with new lyrics. The lyrics are based on areas in and around Brighton. Mostly local humour. Has been toured around the local pubs and clubs for over a decade. Many CDs have been spun off from this.

From 1998-2004, hosted the Southern FM radio show "Last Bus from Whitehawk" which won a Sony Gold Award in 2002.

Terry's catchphrase is "Good evening boys and girls" to which the crowd respond "Fuck off Baldy!".
