Annotation

The Not Moving were born in the early eighties, inspired by Cramps, X, Gun Club and influenced by the 60's psychedelia (13 Floor Elevator, Seed), as well as by the New York surf and punk scene (Patti Smith, Dead Boys, Real Kids); they set the European stages on fire with songs like "Baron Samedì", "Catman", "Psycho Ghoul". They supported The Clash, in June they performed in Berlin with Litfiba and Pankow; they played in the three Italian shows of the ex New York Dolls Johnny Thunders, besides some long and exhausting tours in Europe and Italy. The Not Moving are, and have been, real legends. Ask it to Jello Biafra and Maximum Rock n Roll. A cd box with DVD, that contains live material (period 84-87) of great quality and a long series of interviews to honour a legendary band. Its a fundamental footstep for the recovery of a musical tradition from who actually did rocknrolls history. Through punk, garage, wild rock, psychedelia. Just like the Not Moving did. The album starts from the early debuts to rediscover the songs and the atmospheres of those years, as well as more popular tracks (but that cannot be found as all the copies in catalogue are sold out) it contains different tracks not included in their previous albums and a DVD full of treasures!! Almost 6 months of job, selection, assemblages. More than one hour of music and almost as long in videos. We are proud of "Live in the 80's and we hope youll appreciate this extraordinary collection.
