Vitamin String Quartet

The label, Vitamin Records, produces a series of albums using the brand name of Vitamin String Quartet. This started in the 1999 with "The String Quartet Tribute To..." series. These are now being renamed to "VSQ Performs..." in the digital reissues. (Same content, new title and artwork) Dates can be misleading as rebranded copies still show original release dates.

There is no artist called "Vitamin String Quartet". Instead this is an umbrella term for the project and the albums are performed by many different performers from separate quartets. These performers are usually listed on the CDs.

Notice that "Vitamin String Quartet" never appears on the covers or booklets. The record label would often add a sticker saying to put these on the shelf for sale with the artist that they were a tribute to.

There are also many repackaged compilations using the same recordings.

When crediting these releases, credit both the project name and the performers (where known). "Vitamin String Quartet feat. The Section"

Also note that it is quite common for errors to creep into the CD manufacturing. Track lists can sometimes be different on the pressed CD and the paperwork. These errors are generally corrected on the newer Digital Reissues.
