Born Norris Jones in Atlanta, Sirone moved to NYC with the help of Marion Brown.
There he played with Sanders, and also featured in Noah Howard and Gato Barbieri formations, before moving on to further experimentations with both Ornette Coleman and Cecil Taylor.
