Percy Heath

~ Person

Annotation

One of the Heath brothers, Percy was a remarquable accompanist to top-of-the-top bop leaders of the time (Davis, Monk...) and an eminent member of the Modern Jazz Quartet during... 40 years.
The legend wants that he issued his "first" record (under his own name) at 80 years old.
